Since 1995, the Southern Oregon Outlaw Cyclocross series has been the banner event of the Southern Oregon cyclocross racing schedule.
The race series features five Saturday races starting in mid-October, spread across various exciting venues with courses that change for each event. Registration is $25 per race or $125 for the series, with juniors 18 & under racing for free. OBRA licenses are required, with single-day and season options available at registration. Proceeds benefit Josephine County Search and Rescue, and each race includes a raffle, with past series offering over $5,000 in prizes.
New start times! Please note that races 2 and 3 are in the afternoon.
There will be two races at each venue: Category 4/5 (beginner, intermediate), clydesdale and singlespeed racers race for 30 minutes plus one lap, followed by Category 1/2/3 (advanced, expert) racers, who go for 45 minutes plus one lap. Registration starts 90 minutes before and closes 15 minutes before each race. OBRA rules apply.
Each race is scored on a 10-point system, with the final race offering double points. Participants must race in four out of the five races and compete in the final race to qualify for series prizes. In case of a tie, the final race's placing will break it. Parking at Tom Pearce Park (races 1 and 5) is $5 per vehicle, so carpooling is encouraged.
Juniors under 18 race for free (registration required). Tyklocross races for junior racers 10 and under are held after main races. Pre-register online or in person at the race, and follow our Facebook page for updates!

Important: Venue Moved Due to Weather
Due to a huge storm on Mt. Ashland, 16+ inches, no snow plow and the lodge being closed, we are moving the Mt. Ashland race back to Tom Pearce Park in Grants Pass. We know you were looking forward to this venue and that you are all hale and hardy folk but this just didn’t seem like a safe situation. We hope you’ll understand and come out and join us at Tom Pearce. I’ll have the coffee on and a fire started.
