You're not still driving everywhere are you? Leave the car home and take the bike instead and you'll escape high gas prices, traffic and parking hassles. Plus, you can go at your own pace, stop whenever and wherever you want, and actually have fun, and even get some exercise while you're getting things done!
Seat Angle Is Important, Too - One of the simplest seat adjustments is angling the seat slightly up or down. But, never set the nose more than three degrees lower (women often prefer slightly tipped-down seats) or higher (men often prefer slightly tipped-up seats) than parallel. Rest a straightedge on the saddle's top while making adjustments so you can gauge the amount you're tipping it and keep it within the three-degrees range. If you tip it further, you risk discomfort -- even injury.
Your tires are inflated, your helmet is strapped on, now where do you ride? Just scroll through a few of our favorites on the left! Or, if you know of a better ride, just add it to Map My Ride's database and we'll all be able to try it. Enjoy!
