# Outlaw Cyclocross — Cycle Analysis

> The Southern Oregon Outlaw Cyclocross series, run by Cycle Analysis since 1995. 2026: three Saturday races in Grants Pass, November 7 and 21 at Tom Pearce Park and November 14 at Fish Hatchery Park. $25 a race, juniors free, OBRA license required. ### The series turns 31 this year.

Since 1995, the Southern Oregon Outlaw Cyclocross series has been the main
event on the Southern Oregon cyclocross calendar. The courses change from race
to race, and there are classes for everyone from juniors and first-timers to
experienced racers.

**Proceeds go to [Josephine County Search and Rescue](https://www.josephinecountysar.org/).**
Each race has a raffle, and past series have given away more than $5,000 in
prizes.

**The 2026 series is three races, all in Grants Pass:** Saturday, November 7
at Tom Pearce Park, November 14 at Fish Hatchery Park, and the final on

### Sign up, pin on a number, and race.

**Registration is $25 per race.** Register for all three races and you save
$15. Juniors 18 and under race for free, but they still need to register. You can
pre-register on [OBRA](https://obra.org/schedule) or sign up at the race.
Race-day registration opens at 8:30 am and closes 15 minutes before each
start.

**You need an OBRA license.** You can buy a single-day or season license at
registration, so nobody gets turned away. OBRA rules apply.

**There are two races at each venue.** Category 4/5 (beginner and
intermediate), clydesdale, athena, singlespeed, and fatbike go first, at
10:00 am, for 30 minutes plus one lap. Category 1/2/3 (advanced and expert)
race next, at 11:00 am, for 45 minutes plus one lap.

**Scoring.** Each race is scored on a 10-point system, and the final counts
double. To qualify for series prizes, you have to race all three races. Ties go to
whoever placed higher at the final.

**Tyklocross.** Kids 10 and under get their own race after the main events.
Bring the family.

**Parking.** Tom Pearce Park charges $5 per vehicle, and Fish Hatchery Park
charges $10 for day use, so carpool if you can.

Beginner and intermediate. The first race of the day.

Advanced and expert. The second race of the day.
